LED Uplighting - Highly effective venue lighting and decor

LED Uplighting, also called Mood Lighting, Theme Matching, Colour Wash and other names, is a highly effective way of making any venue look fantastic - even if it already does! You can paint your venue with light!

LED Lights can be set to virtually any colour to provide spots or floods of light on walls and ceilings. They can even be set in slow chases to match your colour theme. You can have them all the same colour or series of colours, or with alternate units running a chase. Alternatively they can be set to just run through a pre-programmed series of colour changes - all in unison!

For example, if your colour scheme is Pink and Blue you could have them arranged so that one unit is Blue, whilst the next is Pink, the next Blue etc. Then, magically have all the Blue ones fade to Pink, whilst all the Pink ones fade to Blue! OR - you can have them all on Blue, then all fading to Pink. OR - you could have all one side Blue and the other side Pink. OR - you could have alternate Blue & Pink. Get the picture? Its beautiful!

This provides a constantly changing wash of colour which really brings a venue to life. My photographs really don't do them justice and they have to be seen to be believed.

LED Lights are cool to the touch so are safe around children (no burnt fingers!), and don't make the venue hot!

LED Lights are extremely energy efficient (approximately 32watts each as opposed to 300watts). Over 100 of these units can be connected to a single 13a socket!

LED Lights can be programmed to any of more than 64,000 colours via 255 steps each of Red, Blue and Green!

This is a fully-managed service. We supply and install the lighting, set it up and remove it at the end of the event. We will also program and monitor any required chases or patterns, and supply/install any required controller, at no additional cost.

LED Lighting Through The Day

I'm often asked to describe the effect of LED Lights, and it is really difficult, so I have taken a series of photos throughout the day (taken at Alnwick Garden) to show how the effect changes in different light. The photos still don't really do justice to the effect itself! If you are having the lighting on for the duration of the day, in effect you get several different effects for your money, as the ambient light changes

During daytime the effect is very subtle, adding discreet accents. Bear in mind this is an all glass wall in bright daylight, therefore the effect is a little less visible than it would be indoors.

During the afternoon, or on a duller day, still subtle but with definite tones to the room, defining shapes and textures. This would probably be the effect in a bright, indoors room during the day.

As early evening arrives, the stronger colours start to come through, with the hints of a colour wash adding depth, more of the interior fixtures becoming lit. This is also what an interior room would look like during the day in low light.

As dusk approaches, the room takes on a deeper, sophisticated colour with the wash penetrating towards the ceiling, adding a touch of luxury, and altering the atmosphere in the room accordingly. Notice how now the colours are just touching the ceiling, adding subtle tones to the room.

It's now dark, and wow! The room takes on yet another personality as the deep, rich colours bathe the walls in your chosen shades. As you can see from the photo, the light now washes the upper walls and roof in colour, adding dimension, depth and rich colour to the venue. This roof is fairly high too, and glass!
