Hi – I’m Colin Cook and I own and operate the business.

Originally from London, I have lived in the North East for over 20 years and love it here – so much that I am now a North East Ambassador!

I have 2 children, both grown up now.

I have a wide Business background, with experience in Management, Customer Services, Training, Retail and IT.

Just over a decade ago I took up DJing, but soon realised that the industry had a generally poor image, DJs often had a huge ego and many do the job for their own satisfaction, not that of their clients. I joined an online Forum to see what the leading DJs were doing, then joined the Musicians Union, and the National Association of Disc Jockeys, and decided to use my prior skills as the basis for my new business.

It soon became apparent that venues and clients alike loved the level of service and commitment I brought to the industry, building a reputation as a high quality service provider. I then found that most of my work was in the high-end wedding sector and corporate sector. I decided to concentrate here and over the past few years have developed into one of the highest-regarded Wedding DJs/Presenters in the UK.

Focussing entirely on my clients, talking to Brides and Grooms, Venue Managers and Owners I have evolved my business into one which provides a wide range of high quality Wedding Services, all totally relevant, affordable and designed to make your Wedding Day as unique, memorable and perfect as you want it to be.

I pride myself on providing what I sincerely believe is simply the best quality of service you will find anywhere, at any price.

Talking of prices, my fees are certainly in the upper section of prices in the North East but are fair and represent the level of service I provide. If you are looking for a cheap DJ then it is unlikely I will fit the bill, but if you are looking for a fantastic, unique experience from a totally professional supplier then I would love to hear from you.

I am a professional, full time DJ specialising in Weddings. I am a member of the National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ) and was National Secretary from 2008-2010. I am also a member of SEDA (South East Discotheque Association) and have been Fair Trades Approved by Durham County Council. All equipment is tested regularly for Electrical Safety (PAT Certificate), I carry Public Liability Insurance of £10m. I have an Enhanced CRB Check, Risk Assessment, Method Statement and Environmental Policy.
