With a totally professional attitude and the emphasis squarely on FUN, I do all I can to ensure that
your event is one that will be successful, memorable and unique.
I can personalise your event to your own requirements, and can
supply the look that suits you best, whether it is a small,
discreet setup with subtle lighting, a standard Disco rig or a
full-on mobile Club Experience with Laser show, Moving Heads,
Strobe etc. Just ask for details.
On the business side, you have the peace of mind knowing you are
dealing with a real professional. Your bookings are confirmed
correctly, with proper paperwork, and plenty of opportunity to
discuss YOUR requirements.
Excellent quality equipment, properly maintained and with full
certification, Public Liability Insurance, a vast music
collection and a great attitude all go to ensure that you have
chosen the best Disco for your function!!

Mobile Discos often get a bad rap, and
this is can be deserved. Every week I get phone calls
from people wanting a last minute disco, because the DJ has let
them down, or the venue has refused them access for not having
the right paperwork. In fairness most of these discos are cheap
as chips guys working for pocket money or beer money. They
usually aren't tax-registered, their equipment is old and can be
unreliable, and they work when and if they want to. Its no wonder they go elsewhere if offered an extra £10 or
so, or are hung-over from the night before, or just cant be
bothered. I am amazed though that someone who has spent good
money on venue, catering and then invited their closest friends
and family would risk the whole night by booking someone like
this! Its a lottery, and although some of these guys are pretty good, and
very experienced DJs, is it really worth the risk? It's often
said, but you usually do get what you pay for, and Quality isn't
expensive, it's priceless!
However, at Colin's Disco I do things
VERY differently. I bring my years of management and business
experience to the Disco industry. This is MY business, MY income
and MY reputation, and those are not things I take lightly.
Because of this I act in a totally professional manner. My
equipment is modern, clean and properly maintained. All bookings
are confirmed with contracts, I have PAT Certification and
Public Liability Insurance. I operate a dedicated vehicle, which
is legally and correctly insured for my business. I have RAC
cover in case of breakdowns, am a major contributor on one of
the leading DJ Forums and have a network of reliable,
professional colleagues in case of illness or injury, am
registered with the Inland Revenue, CRB Checked, a member of the
National Association of Disc Jockeys and the Musicians Union. I
have enough equipment that a breakdown at one gig wont leave me
short at the next one!
So - if you really want the cheapest
disco regardless of quality then I am probably not the person to
contact. However, if you want a professional, reliable DJ or disco at
a fair price, you might be surprised at how little the cost of
peace of mind.
