The Alnwick Garden

This unique and wonderful venue is deservedly a very popular place for Weddings in Northumberland. The pavilion is an incredible glass, steel and wood structure overlooking the fabulous Alnwick Gardens with the impressive Grand Cascade.

The Pavilion is licenced for ceremonies so you can actually get married with the Cascade as a backdrop to your wedding ceremony!

I’m delighted to be recommended DJ to the Alnwick Garden and also to Alnwick Castle, though most of my work is at the Garden. In fact I have developed a range of services designed to help your wedding day run smoothly, add elegance, sophistication and involve all of your guests.

In addition to your evening Wedding Disco the following services are extremely popular for Weddings at The Alnwick Garden – so much in fact that I can tailor the perfect package to suit you.

LED Uplighting/Moodlighting. This has become almost a ‘must have’ at The Alnwick Garden. Although unique and gorgeous, the pavilion is quite plain, allowing you to stamp your own theme onto the room and has wonderful opportunities to personalise the look and feel. The mood lighting provides a ‘wow’ factor greater than anything else here. It adds a depth and sophistication to the room which changes as the day progresses until dark when it just brings the pavilion to life. From outside too it looks incredible, glowing to the roof and blending perfectly with the impressive starlit fibre-optic floors outside.

Ceremony – I can take care of all of your music for the day, including the ceremony. Due to the often tight timings at Alnwick Garden it can be a great move to have me on site all day. As well as the music for your ceremony I can provide tailored background music for your Wedding Breakfast, drinks reception, radio microphone for speeches etc. If your Wedding involves unusual traditions or customs or is a multi-cultural wedding then I can also provide Master of Ceremony/informal Toastmaster duties for you which includes working from your brief and ensuring that everything runs perfectly for you.

Another really popular service here is my excellent Managed Slideshow service. I provide a large screen monitor, computer and operator, can display photos you supply in advance, and during the day/evening add your guests’ photos to show a fantastic running slideshow of your wedding day.

As a side note, weddings can also be held in the Treehouse, which has the honour of being the largest in the world! The Treehouse is licenced for ceremonies and the Wedding Breakfast can also be held there. It is quite rare to have the evening reception in the Treehouse due to the limited capacity, but I am delighted to be the only recommended DJ to provide a disco actually in the Treehouse! For those celebrating the evening reception in the Pavilion but with your daytime celebrations in the Treehouse it may still be possible for me to provide music either for your Ceremony or background music for your Wedding Breakfast.
